Lost In Love


I'm sure you have almost given up on me posting, fear not, been "lost in love".

Between my (now) offline love relationship, which takes up a very happy part of my time, I also spend a great deal of my spare time trying to find special links to online dating sites and other special links that I think will help you. So time has flown by!!

Have you checked out Links For Guys and/or Links For Gals on the site? There are lots of new links I have been gathering for you. Also, Links To Experience has some new ones in there. I may not have been here too much lately, but that sure doesn't mean I am not thinking of what you might be interested in.

Missed you all...promise I won't be away so long again.

Online Dating and Security


Is An Online Dating Love Connection a Security Concern To You?


We read and hear about awful stories of people meeting through online dating sites. Of course, some of these stories are about meetings through chat rooms, etc. But let's just talk about Online Dating sites.

One of the concerns when you meet someone through an online dating site, especially for women, but men fall into this category as well, is that you can never be 100% sure of who it is that is on the other end of your communication. Yes, you can read the profile, see a picture, and even in some cases Online Dating Sites have installed a program called "Private Call", a new system where neither party's phone number is revealed if you choose to connect by phone. Your identity remains protected as long as you choose. This is definately a step in the right direction. But if you are only typing, you still never know if the person on the other end is the gender they claim to be, the age they claim to be, and so many other things.

I found a site called True Beginnings. This site is the first online matching service to provide multiple layers of security that give you greater peace of mind and enable you to feel more confident about communicating with and meeting other members. Before members are allowed to communicate with other members, they are screened against 160,000,000-plus criminal records, through their relationship with Rapsheets.com. Anyone whose name has a felony conviction recorded in these databases is automatically prevented from communicating with you. Check out "True Beginnings" heading "Criminals and Married People Will be Prosecuted". This is, to me, another step in the right direction. Too strict? Well some may think so, but if you are not concerned about that there are many other sites to go to that don't have that kind of tight security. But anyone who may be on the "prowl", be warned, online dating sites are much wiser and have many security features in place to protect their members!

Most people that join Online Dating sites are only looking for friendship,love connections, adventure, etc., and not out to prey on anyone. But for those that are concerned with security, your must check out True Beginnings, a new Online Dating Site to help you Find Your Love Online.
