What you need to do is see – in your minds eye – exactly who it is you want to be with. Focus on your technicolor vision of your ideal mate. Look at this process the same way you would the other changes in your life for the ‘new year’.  For example you may want to lose weight.  But if you say “I want to lose weight” that doesn’t give you a goal.  It is not detailed enough. ”I want to lose 10 pounds” does!  So when thinking of the love you want to find here are some ideas:

* I want a loving person
* I want a giving person
* I want a funny person
* I want to find a person who loves cats

Now, while you do this try to create the person, the love you are looking for, in your mind without the “looks”.  Try to build from the inside out. Why do I say that?  Well though what someone looks like does matter if they don’t have all the ‘inner’ attributes you are look for it doesn’t matter how they look because it will never work.
